That's Eggers all over.

Plus, the McSweeney's/826 National stuff Eggers has built is just good people, y'know?Mikeynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23042008.post-12679117499610145842009-03-27T18:49:00.000-04:002009-03-27T18:49:00.000-04:00Mikey,I agree, From what i've read of Eggers he is...Mikey,

I agree, From what i've read of Eggers he is able to see the world persistently with a sense of child-like wonder, that is exactly the kind of person needed to write this story.scott91777noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23042008.post-69519786340055694762009-03-27T08:24:00.000-04:002009-03-27T08:24:00.000-04:00Glorious.A Where The Wild Things Are movie needed ...Glorious.

A Where The Wild Things Are movie needed to be written by a throughly decent human being, and Eggers certainly qualifies in my book.

And Spike Jonze directed the Sabotage video so he gets a free pass.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13843014015527136142noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23042008.post-30329131530657314862009-03-27T06:37:00.000-04:002009-03-27T06:37:00.000-04:00Jill Duffy: Yeah, it sounds like a different versi...Jill Duffy: Yeah, it sounds like a different version. The verse especially.

Jake: Agreed, I'm not a big fan of the song-edits near the end there. I know it was in development hell for quite awhile, and it even had to be reshot almost completely because the original version was considered 'too dark.' It was also slated to open right after Ron Howard's 'The Grinch' in 2000.

Whenever I think of Spike Jonze, though, I immediatley think of his ditzy southern cletus-like character from 'Three Kings,' so it's hard to imagine him directing a movie.finsof72https://www.blogger.com/profile/15721909709459135540noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23042008.post-65050234797471415192009-03-27T00:10:00.000-04:002009-03-27T00:10:00.000-04:00The Arcade Fire apparently don't have any music in...The Arcade Fire apparently don't have any music in the movie, though.
