as my friend pointed out on twitter: the count counts all the way up to 12 (and i think, in more recent years, even farther than that) so, his job is safe.
When I lived in New York, I met a Sesame Street intern (at the hello Deli, oddly enough - the intern was Ruper's G's cousin or neice or something) who told me that, although SS is modeled to look like Astoria, it is actually filmed in Manhattan. I can't prove this, it's hearsay, but there you go.
This is news to me. Great stuff! I couldn't think of a more appropriate team-up.
