I found this about 5 days ago - and immediately wished that I had come up with it first.
I guess when I hang out with my wife's family, I fall under #71. For some reason #74 made me really laugh.
It's missing "This American Life," although maybe that's covered by "Public Radio" and "David Sedaris."
Agreed, though -- both a funny and kinda depressing list.
I was really about about avoiding falling into the obvious trappings of that list, until we reached #41: Indie Music and it just nailed me completely.
Btw, if anyone is interested, i put together my own thoughts (filtered through some critical race theory) on Stuff White People Like at my blog. I've fallen into the nasty habit of only posting once a week, and so I'm sure some people have forgotten about it, but I'd appreciate the visits nonetheless.
Yeah, that's a funny site. I feel kind of nailed, especially with the Michel Gondry entry.
