Sara Reiss and the Awesome New Blog Design

Thanks to Sara Reiss, my fiancee, for the fancy-fication of geoffklock.blogspot.com. New banner on top and my books for sale on the right. Next up, videoblogging (still in the works, be patient).

ta everyone, and you're v. welcome to "my fiancee" Geoff. hah.

before videoblogging I'd actually like to overhaul the whole blog. right now I feel like the header doesn't match the main content, so I'll work on that.

Swanky.

Geoff, I'm curious why you're jumping over audio blogging/podcasting to do a video blog.

Are you going to be using visuals and such that makes a video blog necessary, or do you just want us to see your purdy face?

Either way, I look forward to it. Hell, I wish you could put up video of the class you're teaching. I'm sure your lectures are interesting.

Very nice, Sara. And congratulations to the two of you on the engagement.

thanks marc, although we've been engaged now for...3 years this past April. But it's even more interesting than that. Just cos you didn't ask, here's some facts about G and Me:

- We have been together for almost 8 years
- Our Anniversary is Halloween
- We've been living together for 7 years
- We will be getting married on our 9th anniversary
- Our 1 year anniversary as a married couple will be our 10th anniversary as a couple (incidentally, I will also just have turned 30. joy of joys.)
- It was while reading Batman: The Long Halloween, by Jeph Loeb and Tim Sale, together that I fell in love with him.

and those, marc, are our stats.

Sweet design and sweet story Sara. Long Halloween on Halloween, huh? Nice.

I'm liking the design, Sara and Geoff. And the "stats" are cute. So, does that mean you're getting married on Halloween 2008, or did I do my math wrong?
