I'm currently reading the Complete Black and White Zot! and really enjoying it so far.
I didn't realize how severe the "Facebook Stalking" epidemic was until yesterday. The girl across the hall from me had her door open and was talking on the phone (very loudly). She was talking to one of her girlfriends, the conversation going a little bit like this: "Hey girl...yeah, I need you to do me a favor...Brandon (her ex-boyfriend) deleted me from his friends list and I can't see his (facebook) page, but I don't think he deletd you so can you go on his and tell me what his past few wall posts have been?"
Whoa.
I know that college-aged girls spend a majority of their time on the internet going over their friends' and potential love interest' facebook pages with a fine-toothed comb but I didn't realize just how severe the problem was.
I feel like 'South Park' should parody this (though they sort of did in the 'Snuke' episode). Just saying.
R.I.P. Michael Crichton-
I just heard the news of Michael Crichton's unexpected death. Crichton is the very reason I began writing when I was 6 years old living without a television where I discovered reading, digging into 'Jurassic Park' and finishing it in 2nd grade and reading it over and over and over. I wrote him a letter when I was 11 and received a response within 2 weeks. Rest in peace and thanks for the revolutions in writing and technology he bestowed. Hopefully, one day, 'The Andromeda Strain' will have a decent silver screen adaptation. It and its author deserve that much.
Is it all right if I name a character Sara Klock in my musical? As noted, it would fit the meter of one of the songs perfectly.

Oh, brief review:
Don't bother with Zac and Miri make a Porno... I'm a big Kevin Smith fan... and part of that is knowing that what you're seeing is not going to be 'transcendent' so much as it is smart but dirty fun. So, in short, I didn't think this movie would do much more than make me laugh (I've had bad luck with comedies this year). However, if the central conceit of a romantic comedy is that you must actually be emotionally invested enough in the characters to actually care about whether or not they get together in the end, the movie is a total failure... and it wasn't really all that funny, it's like he was going for a 'Chasing Amy' but ended up with something much closer to Mallrats.
